998 - Cover Photo 10/10/2021:
by Larry Lawhead
As we've moved into October, the days are getting shorter. one sad (for me at least) ult of that is the loss of time for photo opportunities between end of work and darkness. On the other hand, it means more opportunities for sunset photos. I'm not sure there can ever be too many sunset photos. This one was taken last week, on the campus of SIUE (Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville). Along Whiteside Road, looking out from the bluff across the bottomland towards the Confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. The rivers are about 6 miles to the west, and about 120 ft down the bluffs. Camera: Fujifilm X-T4; Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500); Aperture: f/10.0; ISO Speed: 400; Focal Length: 30.2 mm (45.3mm equivalent)
